Whether you realize it or not, life is a gift. God has given you this life wrapped up in a bow with limitless possibilities. Yes, you can achieve absolutely anything that you set your mind to. Nothing is impossible for you. You are great in every way and there is no one on the planet who is like you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You have within you the ability to change the world around you for the better and if you don’t realize that, it’s high time that you did.
Today I want to talk to you about greatness. I don’t want to talk to you about living an average mediocre life like everyone else. I want to talk to you about your purpose. Why you are here, where you are going and what you can ultimately become! We live in a world of possibility. Every day you are faced with decisions that can move you in the direction of being great instead of just okay or good. Every day you have choices that can shape the world around you into something better.
In the world of possibility that we live in, literally anything within the physical laws of the universe is a possibility for your life. I was watching an NBA basketball game tonight between the Thunder and the Knicks and was thinking to myself, I wonder what it’s like to be a referee in a professional basketball game. I know it is kind of a weird thought to have, but the referees get overshadowed by the players on the court. Their profession is just as valuable as being an NBA All-Star, but nobody pays them any attention. Then I wondered how many of those referees wanted to play in the NBA at some point in their life. This is a little bit off topic, but it is something to think about. Even if they didn’t make it to the NBA, they still get to run up and down the court in front of the crowds of people. It’s probably a pretty big rush, especially if you like that kind of thing.
Now if you’re 50 years old, it is not physically possible for you to play in the NBA. When I say that everything physically possible within the physical laws of the universe is a possibility for your life, that is literally what I mean. It doesn’t mean that you can do anything, it means that you can do anything that is possible for you. Even though you might be constrained by some physical limitations, there are still infinite possibilities for your life. You can still rise to the superstar status of an NBA basketball player, but make your life count for so much more. NBA basketball players can be great role models and they can make a difference in the world, but usually that doesn’t happen to a full extent until their career is over.
You live in a situation where you can make decisions that will enable you to do anything that you can dream. See, your dreams are really defined by what is possible because they exist in your imagination. Typically people do not dream about things that couldn’t actually happen. Typically when people dream, they dream about having great wealth or living the good life. Today, I want you to think about dreaming something that is beyond the good life. I want you to think about what you can do to make the world around you better.

Network marketing has created more wealth for average people without any special education, experience or anything else than any other type of business. So often, when people are thinking about their why, they think about the nicer house and what it would be like to have as much money as they have ever dreamed of. Network marketing can definitely provide this for anyone who works hard. That however is usually not enough of a driving force. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all of these things shall be added unto you. I apply this verse to network marketing in this way. If you make your why about something that is beyond your self, something that is bigger than your life, you tap into the power of God to help you accomplish your goals. With that might come the nicer house and the money that you have always dreamed of, because you are willing to use those blessings to make the world around you a better place.
Success in network marketing does not require settling for good. Success in network marketing requires that you settle for nothing less than greatness. You have to do something to make the world better. You have to leave a legacy that will live beyond the short time that you have here on earth. All of the stuff that you can ever acquire as far as material possessions does not mean anything when you come to the end of your life. I remember when I was a little kid thinking about what it would be like to be an adult. Now that I’m in my mid-30s, I realize that there is not much difference from being a kid. The only thing that has changed is I have learned from my mistakes and I might be a little bit more mature in some areas. I remember thinking those thoughts vividly, like it was yesterday. Life passes us by quickly! There isn’t enough time to decide how you’re going to get there. You just have to start taking the steps to move you in that direction and let God do his job when it comes to fulfilling your destiny.
